Rusty Bucket Blues

from Odds & Ends by Ian Rutherford

/

about

Rusty Bucket Blues is a demo piece exploring some of the software synthesizers from Full Bucket Music. Since both Jean Michel Jarre and Keith Emerson used the Korg PS-3200 the piece takes a little inspiration from both and also uses the classic "robot" vocoder sound.

Recorded in Cubase 11, mixed with Slate Mix Rack, effects from Verbsuite and Soundtoys EchoBoy

Rhythm Track: Bucket Pops
Instrumental Tracks: FB3200 - six different sounds
Vocals: FBVC

Bucket Pops simulating the classic KORG Mini Pops-7 Rhythm Machine from 1966.

FB-3200 is a software instrument simulating the KORG PS-3200 Polyphonic Synthesizer from 1978

FBVC is a software plug-in simulating the classic KORG VC-10 Vocoder from 1978
